Our WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) courses offer everyone the chance to earn an internationally recognised qualification in wine with us here at the Gordon Ramsay Academy.

This WSET Level 3 Wine Course is an internationally recognised qualification designed for passionate wine lovers and industry professionals. Whether you are an enthusiast looking to explore wine in a structured and immersive way or a hospitality professional aiming to advise with confidence, this course will give you the expertise to analyze, assess, and select wines with authority. You will uncover what shapes the style, quality, and price of the world’s most important still, sparkling, and fortified wines, while refining your tasting skills with over 60 wines.

Level 3 is a 5-day immersive journey into the world of wine, where you will uncover the fascinating connection between viticulture, winemaking, and taste. Through guided exploration from our expert educators, you will learn why wines taste the way they do, from the rich, buttery notes of a Californian Chardonnay to the distinctive eucalyptus aroma of a Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon.

Throughout the course, you will taste over 60 wines, reinforcing your knowledge with every sip and sharpening your ability to assess quality, style, and origin with confidence.

The course includes 32.5 guided learning hours including the 2.5 hour examination. The latter is broken down into a practical part, where you will blind taste 2 wines in 30 minutes, and a theory part, consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions and 4 open questions.
