Perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth, as well as anyone looking to practise core baking skills, this class will give you the confidence to flip out the perfect tarte Tatin or whisk up the fluffiest soufflé whenever you want.

What to expect

Our Ultimate day classes are an amazing opportunity to really focus on one ingredient, technique or cooking style. We want you to leave full of confidence, knowing you’ve got the skills and understanding to keep cooking your own ultimate dishes at home. 

Covering all bases, this day class will tackle some absolute classic recipes for crowd-pleasing desserts and make sure you leave with total confidence in getting the ooziest chocolate fondant or stickiest sticky toffee pudding. 

We’ll treat you to lunch to balance out these indulgent treats and you’ll have a delicious selection to take home, along with your recipes to keep cooking from. 

Class details

Class starts: 10am, arrive anytime from 9.30am to check in at reception

Class finishes: 3-3.30pm, depending on lunch break and time to finish dishes

Class size: Maximum 12 guests, some elements may require working in pairs with a classmate, don’t worry if you’ve come alone – it’s a great way to meet new people and have a laugh

Typical recipes and skills (we’ll cook the best available on the day, so we might surprise you!):

  • Sticky toffee pudding – moist sponges and rich toffee sauce 
  • Chocolate fondant – how to get that melt-in-the-middle texture every time 
  • Tarte Tatin – cooking caramel, fruit and pastry 
  • SoufflĂ© – tips and tricks for the ultimate rise
