GORDON RAMSAY ACADEMY - WOKING, SURREY

Junior chefs (11-15): Sushi

Training to be a sushi master can take years, so start early with our fun children’s and teen sushi making class. They’ll have great fun discovering the tricks of the perfect sticky sushi rice and learning how to fill, roll and top classic bites. We reckon they could be a new lunchbox favourite as they look pretty cool, too.

What to expect

Gordon loves getting his children involved in the kitchen, meaning they’ve grown up really excited and inspired by food. Our Junior chef classes are a great opportunity for young cooks to get stuck in and have fun trying out new things.

What could be cooler than inviting mates over for some homemade sushi? We think any young cook will love learning some of the essential skills when it comes to making sushi, from seasoning the rice to choosing the right fish and fillings.

We’ll help them create delicate rolls, plus a classic dipping sauce so they have all the recipes and skills they need to try more sushi at home.
